Our story
We're two chartered accountants who spent the early years of our careers auditing and advising serious companies — listed corporates, global groups, and fast-moving startups. We saw the same thing again and again: the businesses that scaled cleanly were the ones that took finance seriously from day one.
We also saw how underserved early-stage founders were. Most ended up with a traditional CA who surfaced once a year, or juggled five different vendors for books, GST, payroll and compliance. So we started The Finiq: a boutique firm that acts as the finance backbone for startups — combining Big Four rigour with the responsiveness founders actually need.
Today we help founders across India keep clean books, stay compliant, and walk into investor conversations with reporting that holds up under scrutiny.

Meet the team
Gaurav Jain
Chartered Accountant (CA, ICAI)
2.5 years of post-qualification experience at Grant Thornton in audit, plus 3 years of articleship covering audits, accounting, business taxation, GST and income tax returns. Has worked on Indian and global audit clients — including listed companies — across infrastructure, construction, FMCG, fashion retail, services and IT.
Himanshi Garg
Chartered Accountant (CA, ICAI)
Post-qualification experience in finance and accounting at a Mumbai-based real-estate startup, with hands-on exposure to startup financial operations — from day-to-day books to the realities of running finance inside a fast-moving company.
